Accessibility Statement
The Fitton Center for Creative Arts offers every person equal access to the arts. While our building is ADA compliant, we also recognize compliance is a minimum standard. As such, we strive continually to make improvements to our facility and programming that make it more truly accessible and enjoyable for all.
The Fitton Center facility has:

Four designated accessible parking spaces, each with access aisles

Front-entrance curb cut

Automatic interior and exterior door-open buttons at the entrance

Oversized elevator access to all floors

Mobility-device-accessible bathroom stalls on first and third floors

Mobility-device-accessible pottery wheel

Height-adjustable tables in mosaics studio

Two designated mobility-device-accessible seats in the theater (with
companion seating) -
Room signage in Braille

High-contrast, large-print gallery signage

Flexible room setup in the Carruthers Signature Ballroom and Rotary Vista Room
– as well as on the Riverview Terrace – to accommodate all mobility devices
With advance notice, the Fitton Center also offers:

Tactile tours, including selected artworks and building features

No class registration or enrollment fees required for support workers to accompany/assist registered students during classes/workshops.
