Unfortunately, there was a piece that exploded and took out a few surrounding pieces in the bisque firing.
If either of the damaged items are yours, please reach out and I’ll set you up with replacement clay. This is a great reminder that if a piece is completely enclosed without a hole for air to escape, it will explode. As the piece shrinks during firing and there is no where for the air to go and this is the result.
