(Hamilton, OH) - They're baaa-aack.
Denizens of half a dozen arts-related camps descended on the Fitton Center Monday, July 8, to begin the second session of Summer Camp Creativity 2024.
With record attendance through the first three-week session, the next round of camps could push total attendance for the summer past the 300 mark for the first time in program history.
Campers ages 4 to 16 got comfortable and began projects and activities everywhere from the basement mosaics room to the second-floor technology suite and from the studio classrooms to the theater.
New camps this week include Out of This World Art (ages 7-12), Creative Vibes (12-16), Monster Makers (5-9), Dynamic Digital Illustration (7-12), Painting with Pixels (12-16) and Laughapalooza Comedy Camp (7-12).
Campers celebrate their creativity at the end of the week with art shows for family and friends on Friday, July 12. (Laughapalooza excluded; that camp runs two weeks and will have a performance showcase July 19.)
There are only two weeks of camps remaining and limited space available. For a complete list of 2024 Summer Camp Creativity opportunities, visit our website here to get your child involved.
Meantime, enjoy some photos from the first day of camps in the gallery below. The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue on the Riverfront in downtown Hamilton, Ohio.
