Hamilton, Ohio - Classic and then some.
Natalie Murphy and Chris Kroeze dazzled an appreciative Fitton Center audience February 1 with a Classic Country setlist that went well beyond the advertised four-decade span from the 1950s to the 1990s.
In addition to music by the likes of Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, they offered guests a few more modern tunes - anyone think that Taylor Swift kid might have a future? - and some of their own original songs.
They even brought some Broadway to the evening - both New York City and the famous row of Nashville bars and music venues - when Philip Myers came out of the crowd to provide guest vocals on Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues."
Closing with a rousing rendition of Charlie Daniels' "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," Classic Country blazed a sizzling path through some sensational songs.
