(Liberty Twp., OH) - Perfect mornings in July - warm (but not hot), sunny, breezy, no humidity - don't come around every day.
Must've been all the lady bugs, known to be symbols of good luck.
Fort Liberty Playland was filled with (paper) ladybugs Tuesday morning, July 18, when the Fitton Center for Creative Arts community engagement team visited for the second of three Creative Arts in the Park events. A record-setting 120 visitors stopped by the picnic shelter adjacent to the playground to make a ladybug spinner craft.
More crafts are coming from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, July 22, when the engagement team hits the Butler County Fair to make a piglet craft. And the third Creative Arts in the Park at Fort Liberty is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8.
We hope we'll see you out in the community soon.
Meantime, enjoy some photos from the July 18 event at Fort Liberty Playland.
