The Fitton Center kicked off the fifth of six weeks in its Summer Camp Creativity 2023 series July 17. It's been an incredible run so far. A record number of campers ranging in age from 5 to 16 jumped in with both feet, creating an impressive body of artwork, as well special memories to last a lifetime.
You can see some photos from last week's camps right here. We'll post galleries from this week's camps on Friday or Saturday.
There are only a couple more chances to be part of the fun this summer. Two of four camps for Week Six - Scrappy Campers Upcycling Camp and Creativity Cafe - sold out already. But we still have room in our Graphic Novel Camp (ages 12 to 16) and our Cretaceous Creativity Camp (ages 5 to 9). If your teen wants to write the next Walking Dead or Umbrella Academy, Graphic Novel Camp is great place to start. If your little one is wild about dinosaurs, Cretaceous Creativity will scratch that itch with a wide range of artwork based on prehistoric creatures.
Whether or not your kids can join us next week, we're grateful for everyone who trusted their children to us this summer. There's an amazing energy in the building when they are here. We very much enjoy seeing and encouraging their passion for creativity.
