Hamilton (OH) – Artwork in the Fitton Center for Creative Arts’ 30th Anniversary Member Show invited guests to connect, celebrate, play and rest.
The bustling spaces on the first and second floors during the opening celebration Saturday, May 11, revealed people doing just that: discussing art with fellow guests, posing for photos with their pieces, snapping shots of other favorites and – yes - even some people sleeping in the galleries.(Granted, those were tiny humans in strollers, but they were resting.)
The Member Show features artwork by about 70 member artists and their families. It includes more than 110 pieces of original art and treasured heirlooms from the broad spectrum of Fitton Center artists.
The exhibition remains on view through July 12. The Fitton Center galleries are always FREE and open to the public when the building is open. Regular hours are 10-7 Monday to Thursday and 10-5 Fridays.
