Hamilton, Ohio - People follow her voice.
Guests at An Evening with Morgan James at the Fitton Center Saturday, November 16, came from at least seven states. The usual suspects, sure - Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana - but also Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Texas.
James treated all of them to a beautifully soulful show in Hamilton - accompanied by husband/guitarist Doug Wamble - deftly mixing original music with new arrangements on familiar pop, rock and blues numbers.
Several people told James after the performance that they would see her again before the end of the year, a run of shows at venues in Texas, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida and Georgia.

Closer to home, the Fitton Center now swings into holiday mode, with the Celebrationg Self series Decorating for Christmas December 4, Fitton Family Fridays making a foray into a Calypso Christmas December 6 and the sold-out A Motown & More Christmas Fitton Showstoppers event December 14.
