Sculpture dedicated

West Chester, Ohio - The West Chester-Liberty Chamber Alliance recently dedicated its lobby space to an artist and dedicated a sculpture in the lobby of the offices she designed.

The Chamber Alliance celebrated interior designer Tamara Weik by naming the lobby in her memory January 22.

"Through Tamara's dedication, she donated her time and talent to create a space that reflects the spirit of our Chamber and our community," said the plaque describing her contribution, read by Chamber Alliance President and CEO Joe Hinson.

Fitton Center Executive Director Ian MacKenzie-Thurley spoke about the coordination of organizations required to bring Nick Bauer's City of Sculpture piece - Chamber Collaboration Column - to the Weik lobby.

"The Chamber Alliance has been more than welcoming," he said. "They've been encouraging and rolling out the red carpet for us and our partners to bring the arts into new parts of Butler County."

Hinson agreed.

“Through collaboration, creativity and a shared vision, our community partners have brought to life a symbol of unity and strength,” he said. “This beautiful sculpture of the West Chester-Liberty Chamber Alliance logo stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support and uplift one another.

“Thank you to artist Nick Bauer and DBS Stainless Steel Fabricators, Hamilton’s City of Sculpture and The Fitton Center for Creative Arts, whose contributions made this inspiring creation possible.”
