West Chester, Ohio – Three organizations are set to celebrate one piece of art.

The West Chester-Libery Chamber Alliance hosts a ribbon-cutting event with Hamilton’s City of Sculpture and the Fitton Center for Creative Arts to celebrate sculptor Nicholas J. Bauer’s “Chamber Collaboartion Column” at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 22.
The sculpture celebration is part of dedication ceremonies for the newly named Tamara Weik Lobby in the Chamber offices. (8763 Union Center Boulevard, Suite 400, West Chester, Ohio 45069)
“Through collaboration, creativity and a shared vision, our community partners have brought to life a symbol of unity and strength,” said Chamber Alliance President and CEO Joe Hinson. “This beautiful sculpture of the West Chester-Liberty Chamber Alliance logo stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support and uplift one another.
“Thank you to artist Nick Bauer and DBS Stainless Steel Fabricators, Hamilton’s City of Sculpture and The Fitton Center for Creative Arts, whose contributions made this inspiring creation possible.”
City of Sculpture President Tyler McCleary said sharing art beyond the Hamilton city limits is important.
“The City of Sculpture is proud to collaborate with the Fitton Center and the Chamber Alliance in spreading the word on how much of a vibrant art scene Hamilton, Ohio, has become,” he said. “We know Hamilton residents are proud of what they have in their town, so being able to place Hamilton-made art in our neighboring communities helps others see what we have here and gives them a great reason to come see it for themselves.
“The fact that this piece was created by a City of Sculpture board member - the talented Nick Bauer - makes us that much more excited that we were able to be a part of this project.”
Fitton Center Executive Director Ian McKennzie-Thurley agreed.
“Although we are based in Hamilton, we serve all of Butler County,” he said. “We’re building bridges through the arts, whether it’s with Nick’s sculpture, with bringing art classes to Liberty Center in our Fitton at the Foundry studio or with free crafts around the area at events like Art in the Park.
“The arts are for everyone. We are happy to be part of a region that celebrates that. We enjoy teaming up with our partners at the Chamber Alliance and City of Sculpture to reach as many people as possible by making art available and accessible in places people don’t traditionally consider ‘artistic.’ This is an exciting opportunity.”
The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue on the Riverfront in downtown Hamilton, Ohio.
