Hamilton, OH - At least two people got more than they bargained for during the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce's Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl.
Jodie Baker and Terra Perry each won an annual membership to the Fitton Center for Creative arts, in addition to trying tasty beverages all over town December 14.
Jason Michael Miller of the Chamber said the first-time event proved successful.
"Our first Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl exceeded expectations with 102 ticketed participants," he said. "(We had) partnerships and collaboration with 17 bars, restaurants and event spaces, plus eight other local businesses and retailers.
"Our goal was to make pricing low enough to encourage people to make more purchases at each establishment and to share and tag the venues on their social media. It prompted businesses to collaborate in promoting their stop and allowed patrons to choose their own adventure."
